At Last!

I started the show with a little something from 19-year-old Auckland multi-instrumentalist Minho Choi.

He released his debut album last year called Birds and Fruit.

I played a track on my last show in August last month as part of my teen and twenty-something showcase.

I'm really impressed by his originals, on which he plays drums, guitar, bass, and saxophone.

Oh yeah.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday kind of love.

That was Etta James, age 22 in 1960, from her debut album At Last with A Sunday Kind of Love.

She released 29 studio albums in total right up until 2011, a couple of months before she died.

Etta.

Etta James, At Last.

Song At Last.

But also-

And the best cover I ever heard of this, Beyoncé.

The Motto, Yonkers, Look At Me Now, Headlines, Super Bass, Niggas In Paris.

Oh.

You know, that, that last song.
