things because she arrived at the International Space Station in February this year, and she's one of seven astronauts that are way up in space.

She's the only European right now.

So one of the things that's interesting about Hum's artwork to me is just how much mystery surrounds it.

There's a historical, empirical type mystery, like what inspired it? How did it come together? But I think mystery is part of the subject matter within the designs, too.

I want to ask you one more thing about the composition of the Astronaut record.

That's a point that comes up in today's conversation with author Juana Erysted.

Her new novel, Astronaut!, is a murder mystery that takes place in Romania, 1989, under an autocratic government.

And Erysted talks to NPR's Scott Simon about being a kid there in that time and how strange it was watching the grown-ups dance around the truth.

Astronaut! with an exclamation point is the title of Juana Erysted's new novel, which is all at once a family drama, a whodunit, a workplace comedy, and a coming-of-age story as the Iron Curtain begins to crumble all over Eastern Europe.

Juana Erysted spent her childhood in Transylvania and now lives in Sweden.

I think I will speak on behalf of Father and I in saying that we are so thrilled to host our very exciting guest, Dr. Tom Jones.

So Dr. Jones, or Tom, is a veteran astronaut, planetary scientist, pilot, author, and speaker who completed four space shuttle missions and three spacewalks in helping build the International Space Station.

Dr. Jones has authored six books, including Skywalking, an Astronaut's Memoir, and has written for aerospace magazines such as Air and Space Smithsonian, Aerospace America, Popular Mechanics, and the Planetary Report.

A senior research scientist for IHMC, he appears regularly on television news as an expert commentator for space exploration and science stories.

Dr. Jones, who flew on four space shuttle missions, is the recipient of the NASA Distinguished Service Medal, as well as many other honors.

I think that now that Katie Hobbs has been cleared, you know, the slate is clean of any wrongdoing, she's bringing in the heavy hitters to help her get reelected to the governorship.

And believe it or not, none other than Senator Astronaut jumped on board to do this little ditty.
