You can watch it from the side on the canals and there's lots of events, festivities, local foods, traditions that you would just totally embrace that culture of Venice.

Now, over in the Piemonte region, in Asti, on September 6th, I just have you going all back and forth in north of Italy, don't I? Palio d'Asti Horse Race is going.

This is the oldest horse race in Italy.

It's very traditional.

And it's just it's a very exciting time.

It's very famous.

And again, this is September 6th in Asti in the Piedmont region.

So that's something to take advantage of.

Yeah, into the countryside.

And the town of Asti captures that reality perfectly.

In mid-September, they host these twin festivals that overlap in this brilliant sort of chaotic way.

You have the Duja Diyar Wine Festival, which provides a highly refined environment for premier wine tastings.

But then, sharing the calendar on a crucial weekend, is the Festival del Sagra.

And the Sagra is a completely different animal.

Over 40 distinct local villages just descend upon the streets of Asti.

It is effectively a region-wide potluck.
