And when we discussed Doomed Prophecy, it was very much a like, Well, let's see if it's a problem, right? We only have so much internal bandwidth for playtesting and we only have so much bandwidth for external playtesting as well, right? We try to get as many games as we can, but this was a very large project which had many, many, many playtest cycles with the external testers, but we did kind of break it down into bite-sized chunks as we were doing it internally and externally.

So we didn't necessarily playtest Angela with June Prophecy for a year and a half or something, but it was something that was discussed and thought about, right? But i think it's a very cool interaction and i think it is why we printed doomed prophecy and if it turns out to be too good in the end then we can address that right um when we were assessing other tactic cards to look at like you know wakanda forever got a lot of discussion um that kind of stuff like a lot of it was could we change this yeah we could right but like is this a problem now do we think it's going to be a problem in the future no, okay, do we really do this kind of thing? And I mean, Asteroid M has more implications than just Magneto.

Like if I was doing an X-Men game, a node might be the Xavier School.

It might be Asteroid M.

It might be the Savage Land.

my money go? Asteroid M would have been absolutely just not good because I could have Asteroid M'd him to my Juggernaut who was fighting an angel and nothing else.

That would have been just a really bad Asteroid M.

So there was never like a good point for Asteroid M.

It is pretty good.

It's a really cool way to kind of play mind games with your opponent, where let's say Magneto or Exodus haven't gone yet, and your cheaper characters have, and they are holding stuff, and you're like, do you really want to attack them? Do you want to power up Magneto and Exodus? I don't know how great this card is compared to a lot of the tools the Brotherhood has, right? We've talked about, shoot, Asteroid M recently, right? And how insane that card is, but a very cool card.

Well, I think

Asteroid M, if you've got Exodus in your squad, if you're playing him, I'm pretty sure you've just got to save Asteroid M for him.

I think it's just what it is.

But one little thing, Juggernaut, also a five-threat character, but good luck getting Juggernaut, Exodus, and Magneto on the same tabletop.

Now season four is more of deep character studies, time travel paradoxes, and the grand setup for Apocalypse's ultimate multi-episode master plan.

So Magneto builds a utopian space station called Asteroid M for all mutants, but Fabian Cortez attempts a coup to assassinate him and start a war with Earth.

Stranded alone in the wilderness with a broken helmet chair, Professor X hallucinates and navigates past traumas while hunted by anti-mutant zealots.

Morph returns to the X-Men to overcome his lingering psychological trauma and prove he is ready to rejoin the active roster.

Episode 12 and 13 is The Cauldron Does, two-part season finale.

where Mysterio's menopause began abducting mutants while Cerebro locates Scott's long-lost brother Alex Summers, aka Havoc, in Hawaii.

Magneto traps the X-Men and the Brotherhood on asteroid M, forcing a dramatic confrontation regarding the future of mankind.

Now here, essentially, Magneto created this machine that enhances mutant abilities.
