XDS Astana Team

And obviously being from Austria, Lidl Trek have got their sights all over that part of the world.

And then over them then, we had Urca Berrade is moving from Equipo Kern Farmer to XDS Astana.

Obviously, a previous winner of a stage in the Vuelta a España.

A good, solid climber for them to have.

So Yana Seale most recently was sort of management, but, you know, office management sort of thing, not sports management, at both Lotto Sudarzona and then the UAE's women's team.

But before that was Astana.

Astana.

was brought in as general manager, sort of shore up the finances.

You know, that team's been a bit all over the place for years, right? You know, sometimes the sovereign wealth fund will not release the money in time to pay riders and then it all gets a bit sticky.

He's still there.

You'd always back him in some sort of dealing such as that, potentially.

But turn of events, Yana Sil is back at Astana this time around.

...

XDS Astana, way to go.

[laughs]

Bahrain Victorious, Net Company, Ineos, Uno X, Soudal Quick-Step.

Uh, still no concrete news on Filippo Ganna leaving to head to Lidl-Trek, although the latest rumor suggests there's a 50/50 chance of that still happening.

Uh, on to the NETcompany-Ineos signings then, and first up, Harold Tejada, who moves over from XDS-Astana, and then secondly, 21-year-old Markel Irizar from EF Education-EasyPost.

Uh, so the Spaniard won the Tour de l'Ain this season overall and looks to have a solid future in stage racing.

Pinot-Q36.5 have announced yet more signings too.

Italian Davide Ballerini has inked a two-year deal with them, having spent the last few seasons with XDS-Astana, whilst Ethan Hayter goes there from Soudal-Quick Step.

The Brit had been struggling to find a new team, was recently at the Vuelta, but now has a two-year deal with the Swiss squad.

Meanwhile, Georgia Baker moves from Jayco-AlUla over to Canyon//SRAM, whilst Mikaela Harvey moves to Jayco-AlUla from SD Worx.

I went digging further and I found Alex Dowsett.

Now, Alex Dowsett now works for XDS Astana as their performance engineer, which basically means performance.

They're Aero consultant.

He does team time trials, time trial positions and equipment.
