Assembly Square

Kind of plan, you know, kind of a plan of what it would look like.

And I was surprised because I was told, oh, it might look like Assembly Row or Assembly Square, you know, where there's I mean, because it's not just housing, but also retail restaurants and shops.

And I was like, wow, it could look like that because right now it's just a market basket with a strip mall.

Can I tell you the only thing that would be better than living in the parking lot of Market Basket would be living in Market Basket.

great, great example of it was a small business up in Andover, Mass.

We moved it down to Somerville and Assembly Row.

We were actually the first business to be in Assembly Row.

It was a great opportunity for us.

And, you know, we had a great time down there and, you know, built a great little business.

It's like, what's the place in, um, in, uh, um, Somerville?

Assembly Row.

Yeah, it's...

Those don't count as a mall.

No.

No one...

I, I would never say I'm going to Assembly Row, and that's a mall.

I wouldn't either.

But things like housing starts, multi-family, those are absolutely part of what we look at when we're looking at a, at a market.

We did a store in Assembly Square in Somerville, Mass, at, in Boston.

Mm-hmm.

And that is a live, work, and play environment.

How we assess opportunities is we, we look at the opportunities that are available and we figure out how to put the right store to square it up with the opportunity that's presented to us.

Mm-hmm.

And Assembly Square is an example of that.

I'd say it's really the minority of our, our portfolio of stores that are in that type of shopping center.
