Moving on to our final interview of today's episode and series, I am joined by Jack from Prophets, which is performing at Assembly Roxy this year.

Hello, Jack, and welcome to The Stagey Place.

How are you doing today? Hi, Elliot.

What's it like to bring another show up to the fringe this year?

It's such a huge deal to bring anything to the fringe, even if I am just going down the road from where I live.

I live maybe 10 minutes from the venue at Assembly Roxy that I'm going to be doing the show at.

It's still a huge deal.

And now for some smut.

In 2024, Bryn Was decided that the way forward was to write some smutty poetry, and from that rhyming moment, she's workshopped, performed, and reimagined her show, the titular Smut, and the current iteration is now on stage Assembly Roxy here in Edinburgh.

The premise is a washed-up burlesque superstar, Entendre Entendre, inviting audiences to the launch of her memoir.

Smut, yes, the name of the show and the name of the book going on in there as well, and it is a gateway to a, how shall we say, a very eventful hour.

Bryn was there talking about the show Smut, which is on in the delightfully named Snug, so Smut in the Snug at the Assembly Roxy through until the 31st.
