uh so yes uh she offered it to the british museum they turned it down so she just sold it another blooming legend moment they were serious pieces what she had uh then she got into horse racing uh she didn't just do it under her own name though she she raced under the name mr theobalds her country estate was called theobalds park her and her husband

There's two Asprey families.

I don't know what quite happened, but...

Like I said on that piece there, at Asprey we sponsored that event for over 12 years and I used to go to that championship every year to support the players and watch them and those players, all these PGA pros in Wales helped our business from day one 23, 24 years ago and that was our kind of you know a thank you back to to the pga pros by sponsoring that event and they all became friends and it's like a lot of the pros said that it's it's nice to catch up with everybody you only get to see him once once a year together so yeah the the atmosphere is fantastic so friendly but like i said is at that competitive edge as well and with the history of that tournament um there's something special about it and like i said on that piece is all the pga hold that tournament so close to their hearts because it is the oldest one but yeah it was a great day and I love going up and see the guys and girls play against but I'm interested to hear what Matt did on day two we were all following him Matt how did he get on?

Yeah I'd just like to say obviously you know on behalf of the you know all the players you know I know it's been mentioned before but obviously Asprey's support of the tournament allowed us to carry on playing you know during difficult times and you know without that sponsorship we probably I wouldn't say we probably wouldn't be playing but we probably wouldn't have played back then so Thank you again, Errol.

those years.

The journey is difficult when you employ people, but in the end, I, I employed 547 people, and I, I took a sewing kit and shower cap company, [chuckles] uh, to sell brands like Bulgari, Penhaligon's, Asprey, Elemis, The White Company, Yves Saint Laurent, Zinema Jill de Zenia, which nobody can even pronounce, in 110 countries [chuckles] to luxury five-star hotels.

And I say this because it literally is 18 and a bit years ago since I sold that first enterprise, but it was frankly resilience more than brilliance, I would say.

Oh, it's amazing though.
