Hart's-tongue fern

Struthiodorus germanica grows to a great height in open places in Arborvitae and black ash swamps.

Camptosaurus rhizophilus and Scolopendrium officinarum I found in but one place amid the wet limestone rocks of Owen Sound.

There are many species of sedge common here, which I do not remember having seen in Wisconsin.

Calypso borealis is a lovely plant, found in a few places in dark hemlock woods.

Camposaurus is not here, but I can easily procure you a specimen from the rocks of Owen Sound, Canada.

It is there very abundant.

So also is Scolopendrium.
