I'm the former elected Maricopa County recorder, and I am now a lecturer and a fellow at the Ash Center.

The question is going to be how many other Michiganders and how many other potential swing voters across the country feel the same? And how will that impact decisions when it comes to who they select on the ballot? For more, we turn to our political panel, Jeannie Shanzano.

John, to begin with you, if you were running a Republican campaign in Michigan, if you were working for Mike Rogers or you were working for John Husted in Ohio and you were looking at the way in which tariffs placed by Canada could have a detrimental impact on your state, how big of a political problem is this?

I think you have to acknowledge that people are hurting, that people are concerned with high prices and higher gas prices or gas prices that are higher than they would like.

What do you think, uh, about this, Rick? There are some concerns that this period of time we're in, as the US waits for the economic stranglehold to intensify, that Iran is simply rebuilding, digging out missile sites that we hit, trying to make more missiles and drones for when this turns back into a military, uh, action.
