Arturo Gatti

Ivan Davidov.

[bruit de foule] [fin de musique] [début de musique épique] Arturo Gatti, Iris, Mickey Ward.

Two of the most honest fighters in the sport of boxing circa 2002.

A fight straight out of the 1950s.

I've trained for like a year, like at Gleason's Boxing Gym in Brooklyn where they produce some champions over there.

Like Arturo Gatti used to train over there back in the day.

And I really, I made it as serious as I could.

But then you got some guys that have never trained before coming in and taking fights, celebrity fights.

And even the boxers this day today that say they love Floyd.

Go watch Floyd against Arturo Gatti.

It's one of the most vicious things you'll ever see in your life, man.

And y'all don't have these fights to compare yourself to these people.

That's why I can never watch Floyd Mayweather fights, because I respect and hate his defense, but I hate his lack of offense.

I like Arturo Gatti.

I'm a Tyson guy.

I like Gresham.

Yeah

... people from Jersey are supportive, just the way they did, uh, Arturo Gatti back in the day, even though he wasn't originally from Jersey, but that became his home.

Mm-hmm.

And they came out.
