Artisanal mining

We have no interest in being the miners ourselves.

There are lots of artisanal mining companies in Chile that are very well-practiced at this.

They've got the equipment.

They've got the personnel.

I just also wanted to check just before I let you go.

There's now, you know, undeniably, you know, the issue that we can't run away from, that's artisanal and small-scale mining.

So how does it all then play a role in this conversation?

Yeah.

But artisanal Moscow mining has increasingly been put on the map as an opportunity for job creation.

And from a mining deposit perspective, some deposits don't lend themselves to industrial mining.

That's where... formalized small-scale mining could come into the picture.

There's a lot to learn from jurisdictions like Tanzania or Zambia or even the Democratic Republic of Congo where politics put ASM as a priority to get right.
