This news article from Gyeongyang Sinmun back in January of 1987 read that North Korean agents were found to have used all sorts of methods, including honey trapping and fake marriages to lure one of our workers out of the country.

And the story goes on to just bash North Koreans about how cruel their methods were and how we should all stay vigilant, obviously.

So people had really, at the time, no real reason to disbelieve all of these reports in the press.

But this book by Dave Zirin is about Howard and his spouse, Roz, and His circle and the people he inspired, his sense of leadership being something that comes out of people rather than tutored to people, his often belief that optimism requires a discipline.

He's just full of great quotes and a very prolific author, articles, books, pamphlets, just poured out of him.

driven by his sense of moral indignation, which sustained him.
