So which countries are the big users of this fuel?

Um, so LPG is a fuel used a bit everywhere, uh, in the world today.

Uh, but I would say that developing Asia is the first, uh, LPG consuming, uh, region, uh, globally because out of the 3.4 billion people, uh, that cook with LPG around the world, 2.4 billion are living, uh, in developing Asia.

So LPG has basically been at the center of the clean cooking transition of many Asian countries, uh, including India and, uh, and Indonesia.

So something to understand is that in the span of 15 years, uh, thanks to large public programs, uh, subsidizing and distributing LPG stoves and cylinders, uh, India and Indonesia have shifted more than 800 million people, uh, away from, uh, the use of fuel wood, charcoal, and kerosene since 2010.

So today, it's 90% of the population in Indonesia that cooks with LPG and, and 80% of the population in India, uh, that cooks with, uh, with LPG.

But above and beyond cooking, uh, LPG is also widely used in developing Asia, uh, in the petrochemical industry, uh, particularly in China.

Okay, I think it's worth just reminding ourselves what some of the benefits of using LPG are as opposed to more traditional cooking methods.
