Arthur Conti

Uh, yeah, I mean, we've already said kinda pointless.

Uh, Arthur Conti as Jeremy Frazier, the ghost of a troubled teen who murdered his parents and becomes Astrid's brief love interest.

I, I dunno man, he was just there for me [laughs] I guess.

You know? Whatever.

But anyways, she did such a phenomenal job in her role of just really being that character you, you want to hate.

Uh, we have Joel Lepp playing Tommy Ross, Josie Tada playing Tina, Arthur Conti playing Billy, uh, Talia Dudek playing Emeline, uh, Emeline, sorry.

And Emeline character will play a bigger role kind of as the series goes on.

We have Amber, uh, Midthunder playing Miss Desjardins, and we have Matthew Lillard, the one and only, uh, Scream alum, Stu Macher, um, playing Principal Grail.

Yeah.

Also, I don't know why, but every time Billy Nolan came on screen played by Arthur Conti-

Yeah

...

Now streaming on Amazon Prime Video is Mike Flanagan's supernatural horror TV miniseries Carrie, based on Stephen King's iconic 1974 debut book.

This first-ever TV adaption of the Tyler franchise and the fourth big screen version of said book stars the talents of Summer Howell-- Someré Howell, Matthew Lillard, Amber Midthunder, Samantha Sloyan, Alison Thornton, and Arthur Conti.

Set in the modern day, it follows teenage Carrie White, who spent her whole life in isolation as she enters high school after her father's death and the emergence of her strange, mysterious powers.

According to imdb.com, writer and director Mike Flanagan hosted a screening of the 4K restoration of 1976's Carrie at Vancouver's Rio Theater.

After her father's sudden, untimely death thrusts her into the unforgiving ecosystem of public high school, Carrie is forged to navigate a viral bullying scandal that tears through the community, the relentless pressure and casual cruelty of the social media age, and the awakening of mysterious telekinetic powers that rise alongside her adolescence.

Uh, I'm gonna be talking with, uh, one, showrunner Mike Flanagan, and a lot of the cast, including Summerah Howell and Samantha Sloyan, Amber Midthunder and Matthew Lillard, Alison Thornton and Josie Totah, and Joel Alts and Arthur Conti.

Of course, Mike Flanagan, uh, he's one of my all-time favorite creators.

Uh, Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, the Life of Chuck, the Haunting of Bly Manor, the Fall of the House of Usher, Doctor Sleep, just to name a few.

Good talking to you.

And thanks to Alice and Josie.

Now pulling it into the drive, we're gonna finish this out with, uh, my conversation with Joel Allett and Arthur Conti.

Arthur you've seen in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and Sons.

Right.

Arthur Conti as Billy, Sienna Agudong as Sue Snell, Alison Thornton as Chris Hargensen.

Yeah, and the article makes a very pointed comparison with John Travolta, who played Billy Nolan in 1976.

Oh, this part was wild.

After her father's sudden untimely death thrusts her into the unforgiving ecosystem of the public high school, uh, Carrie is forced to navigate a viral bullying scandal that tears through her community, the relentless pressure and casual cruelty of the social media age and the awakening of mysterious telekinetic powers that rise alongside her adolescence.

The series is written and directed by Mike Flanagan and stars Summer H. Howell, Samantha Sloyan, Sienna Agudong, Alison Thornton, Joel Ouellette, Josie Tota, Arthur Conti, Talia Dudek, Amber Midthunder, Matthew Lillard, Heather Graham, Kate Siegel, Michael Trucco, Rowan Danielle, Rahul Kohli, and Tim Bagley.

All eight episodes of Carrie will be streaming exclusively on Prime Video in the US and Canada on October 7th, 2026.

Let's dive in here.

Like, she's really, really good.

And Arthur Conti is so smarmy.

Do you remember him from Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the sequel? He's a dropout still hanging around the high school, and he's a bad influence.

Uh, then who's Tommy Ross? Well, that role goes to, role goes to Joel Oulette, and I can certainly see why he was cast, but he looks way too old for high school.
