Art Windsor-Essex

Um, and then outside of that, um, I really enjoy being involved in the community.

Uh, I'm a Butterfly Way Ranger with the David Suzuki Foundation, uh, a newer member of LaSalle Hor- Horticultural Society, and of course, I sit on the External Affairs Committee at Art Windsor-Essex.

Yes.

So-

A lot of this work has been through sitting on governance boards.

I s- currently sit on the external committee for Art Windsor Essex, so incredibly involved in the arts community.

For my volunteer time, I am currently the CEO and president of the native nonprofit housing organization in our city, CanAm Homes.

I'm a small business owner, [clears throat] sorry, uh, owning a business in the downtown core of our city.

At the University of Windsor, Kat served as Aboriginal Outreach and Retention Coordinator from 2016 to 2025 and was a University of Windsor Senate representative for six years.

She has also been involved with a number of community and arts organizations, including the Windsor-Essex Orange Shirt Day Committee and Art Windsor-Essex.

Kat, thank you for joining us.

Wow, that was incredible.
