Art Fleming

People may not remember, but Jeopardy was on hiatus for a number of years.

It used to be hosted by Art Fleming, who actually was a disc jockey at my old radio station at WAKR in Akron, Ohio.

But it went off the air for whatever reason, and it was because of the popularity of Weird Al's I Lost on Jeopardy, which was a parody of Jeopardy by Greg Kinband.

And because of that popularity, they brought it back, but with a new host.

Uh, obviously, um, when you look at the video, like you have up on the screen, you can see it is, you know, the video is a reference to the old, um, the jeopardy set, uh, not, not the new Alex Trebek set or Ken Jennings or whoever's hosting it now.

Um, But he did bring a couple of the original people from the original Jeopardy! show, such as Art Fleming and Don Pardo.

For the video, Don Pardo does some voicing on I Lost on Jeopardy! as well.

And also in the video is Greg Kin, who is the original songwriter for Jeopardy!, or at least the original artist for Jeopardy!.

Really?

Yeah, that was back when Art Fleming was the host.

Oh,

wow.

They've had a few people like that in the course of the show.

But the original Jeopardy! hosted by Art Fleming, I used to watch that when I would come home from school.

That was a lot of fun.
