105,000 thumbs up on YouTube, 78,000 thumbs down.

Then a world tour with Marilyn Manson as main support in South America and the UK, and a fresh wave of backlash.

Matt Wallace, the producer behind Faith No More's The Real Thing and Angel Dust was in the room for those early sessions and Eloy says they've got a lot of songs, his first Slipknot record since jumping from Sepultura back in 2024.

So this new song, Arsenal, it's been... recorded and produced by clown i think and directed by clown the video um and it is the first single since bone church that's right yeah yeah so 2023 was that bone church and the album in 2022 was the end so far which to be honest was a bit forgetful for me I mean, has Slipknot been Slipknot since, you know, the self-titled album or Iowa? There's been splashes of good singles here and there.

But has there been a complete album? Maybe.
