Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon

oh my gosh.

One of the main questions, is Gundam Rogue Orbit like Armored Core 6? And somebody says, yes.

Shares a similar gritty aesthetic and high mobility mech movement.

Hmm.

It's like an awesome Gundam style like character action game.

It's like really hyped up Armored Core 6, but obviously more like, you know, character action instead.

But some of the aesthetic reminded me of that.

So that actually looks really promising.

Bro, bro, remember, uh, remember when I went to go pick up, uh, Spider-Man from GameStop? And this nigga was like, "Uh, yeah, you should buy this game.

This game is good." I'm like, "What game?" He was talking about, uh, Armored Core 6, uh, whatever it's called.

[laughs]

And he told me, he said, I was...

But I just want to make sure there's nothing else that I'm missing that you wanted to touch on.

what I love talking most about gameplay wise is the combat and how I said it at the beginning but like the player expression is really I love a game where if something's not working you can change something drastically about your play style or your kit or whatever your build if you will and try something new I love that in Armored Core 6 that was one of my favorite things about that game um and in this how there's so many different weapons with 33 weapons to be exact uh and so many different magic powers and the way they can be implemented into combos and um every magic power has a it was one of my favorite thing one of the biggest reasons why i love watching people stream this is seeing how they and especially you not just because i wanted to see how you were liking it um was to see how people use the different powers in different situations and uh You know, there's, like, your standard, like, area of effect ones.

There's a standard, like, low damage quick projectile one.

That's what I use most of the time.

Now, I'll give you two quick hitters, because one is something that was in both State of Plays as well, and that was Gundam Rogue Orbit.

And that's the Gundam game where it kind of looks like they took Gundam, and they took Armored Core 6, and they smashed them together, and they made it a little bit slower and not as crazy.

But they were saying, you know, it's Gundam.

You're hacking and slashing and shooting and flying all around, fighting like enormous, enormous boss monsters that like dwarf your Gundam.

So I don't know how in the world, like in the Gundam world, that works.

But something about it, it didn't look as crazy as Armored Core 6.

It didn't look as simple as like a Musou game.

But it looked like a nice in-between.

But I'm down to play any of these games, really.

And Armored Core 6 has been on there for a long time, but I would like to actually...

If the multiplayer mod is out, it would be cool to play that.
