Armor Wars

And I hope one of these creators came in with such an amazing pitch that they're like, oh yeah, the title no one wanted is what we're going to put in the front of the line.

I believe, I believe that there has been a, uh, binding peace accord in the armor wars and, uh, there, there will be, uh, no more hostilities.

It seems like now, because of the shift of which they are moving, a lot of these shows aren't getting renewals or whatever.

They're stopping shows in general.

They're not gonna have any loose ends like this, and that includes Armor Wars, which never really got off the ground unfortunately.

Mm-hmm.

That was originally what Marvel, like the Marvel series on Disney Plus, that's what they were supposed to be.

Like, one of the early things they announced was Armor Wars.

And Armor Wars, I know we haven't talked about it.

I've never heard of that.

So the Armor Wars-

Is that, like, Iron Man and War Machine fighting each other?

No, it was, uh, it was an Iron Man series where in the '80s, and I can't remember if it was before or after Tony got sober.

Basically, yeah.

And so he goes on a relentless mission to make sure that that technology is only his.

And you could see the Don Cheadle version of Armor Wars being, well, that's happened.

The world that Tony Stark built to create doesn't exist because his technology is being perverted in some way.

And I'm going to sort that out to honor my lost friend, that kind of thing.

There's plenty of options there.

And that leads into Armor Wars.

That's who Don Cheadle is trying to stop.

It's not going to happen.

still so bummed that we're not getting Armor Wars.

What a cool story we could have gotten.

I know! And then we ruined it.

Because now I can't remember.

Did Armor Wars go back to being a movie or it's still going to be a show? Listen, which has a better chance of

showing up any time? Armor Wars or Blade? Blade.

I think it's always on the slate, but it always doesn't have when it's coming out.

It's always like, you know, we're doing it, but we don't know when.

I think over here, you got like, I have, you know, um, Denny O'Neill's stuff dealing with the aftermath of demon in a bottle.

Um, And then Armor Wars, which I think is fascinating because that's a story of Tony's paranoia.

Like that is really you're ripping me off.

Like everybody is awesome and good only because they sold my technology.

That partier.

It all leads into a famous Iron Man event called Armor Wars.

Hey! Now, Stark learned that an industrialist calling himself Spy Master had stolen the plans for many secret Stark technological innovations found in the Iron Man armor.

He began posting on the site again in mid-June, sharing a photo of himself in a jockstrap on June 18th with the caption, thinking of making a comeback.

Currently, DiMeo doesn't have any upcoming projects listed in IMDb Pro, save for a credit as a script consultant on a Marvel movie called Armor Wars that was announced in 2022 and seems to have been caught in development hell.
