Armani Little

Um, a- it's just really, really unlucky.

Um, and I, and, and I know there'll be a lot of, there's a lot of, you know, tinfoil hat wearers at Gills who are saying, "Oh, you know, we've got, we've got problems in the, in, in, i- you know, in the fitness department and, um, what we're doing in training," and all this sort of stuff.

But a, a good chunk of these have just been, have just been real, real bad luck.

Um, and we've, we've got the bones of a brand new side to come back when they're all fit, which is, which is kind of the positive way to look at it.

If they think he's not worth risking, they won't risk him, I don't think.

It'll be a shame if he doesn't start, but I don't think it'll be the wrong decision if he doesn't, especially if Robbie McKenzie can come in and, and play.

Um, like you say, you've got Zane, uh, coming back to fitness apparently.

Bradley Dak apparently coming back as well according to BBC Kent.

But I think it was a very good, it was concerning, but it was good to see that the squad bounced back from it.

You saw, obviously, after the Armani Little and Liam Gordon injuries against Walsall, we had that weird 15 minutes, but we didn't have that yesterday.

Yeah, and as I said at the start of the show, that could have, you know, put us back a little bit and maybe thought, I know we've lost a couple of players.

We could have maybe sort of had a bit of trouble there pushing on.

I remember even a few years ago, it was a different story.

I was really attached to players like Armani Little and always like Jamie Reeds.

I think every Torquay fan was, especially really.

But it was different.

You don't want to rush them back.

Look at Armani Little.

We rushed him back, not from an ACL, and he broke down again.

Yeah.

That's a big thing.

Whether that's your Armani Little, whether that's Omar Beckles behind him, giving him a word in the ear.

But I really, I think this whole season is going to be about who plays next to Zane Alvarez.

And he's what? He made his professional debut in the league last week against Walsall.

So a couple of chances for each side.

I would say for Gills this was quite an important game not to lose, um, missing Liam Gordon at the back who got injured last weekend, Armani Little in midfield who got injured last weekend, Bradley Dack in attack who's been injured to start the season.

Um, the standout players for them, excitingly for me, 'cause it's, um, apart from Sam Gale, young players in, in short supply for Gills recently but Zane Alberis in midfield, 20-year-old catching the eye as did 19-year-old Logan Dodds at the back who may be their new young defender to replace Sam Gale.

For Fleetwood, uh, they've got lots of young players as well.

Um, you know, I, I...

We have Armani Little.

Whether you think he's good, bad or indifferent, Armani Little's a Gillingham player, and he fits that mold, but we just need to get him fit and on the pitch and, and give him the opportunity to demonstrate that.
