Arlington Independent School District

...

in Arlington ISD.

Yeah.

That's where I was.

General Motors, the University of Texas at Arlington, and a growing network of commercial businesses helped support the city's economy.

National Semiconductor, Hughes Corporation, and the Arlington Independent School District were among the area's major employers, while six flags over Texas and the Texas Rangers had given Arlington an identity extending well beyond its borders.

In February 1988, the parks at Arlington Mall opened near South Cooper Street and Interstate 20, adding another major shopping destination to the growing city.

And at the same time, the local workforce was changing.

We thought there was a decent shot that they might put together them and North Crowley and kind of have a different kind of district of doom over there.

And then they go to the Arlington ISD teams and all due respect to them.

not the shining stars of 6a powerhouses in recent years in the dfw and they came in and it was like no welcome we can play it was it was a big win all around for a lot of different narratives

so there it is the uh stock down alito's district winning streak comes to a close finally after 136 games we got much more we're gonna wrap this thing up we got our stat of the week in case you missed and of course the mad step he got that dog in him player of the week after this

I'll never forget because God brought us here Easter weekend 16, over 16 years ago now, 16 years has passed Easter.

And my producer who I had, who's now an Arlington ISD school teacher along with his wife, I love them so much.

I miss them.

Haven't seen him in a while, but he's a sweetheart.

And it's led me to this is my 19th year starting this year and this fall teaching.

I teach theater at Sam Houston High School in Arlington ISD.

And I think for me, one of the great things about being able to come out and perform is one, I love to perform and I don't get that when I'm just teaching.

And so it gives me that creative outlet to put my energy on stage.
