Arklay Mountains

Yeah.

Up in the Arklay Mountains, S.T.A.R.S. finds the wreckage of their Bravo team and some zombie birds before reaching the mansion.

Now, the team splits up so they can cover more ground.

But back in town, Chief Irons reaches one of the barricades and flees when Umbrella just starts shooting at civilians.

Yeah, this is where all this background finally kind of brings us to the context that you need for the first game.

So before Raccoon City is Outbreak, the major incidents that take place in the Spencer Mansion and the Arklay Mountains is the series of disappearances.

That's how the game starts.

S.T.A.R.S. has been sent out with a Bravo team to investigate.

It's only just starting that these violent cannibalistic attacks are happening.

Except there was that incident in the Arklay Mountains where there was supposedly a cannibal that had been eating people.
