48:18
We used to joke around the office about doing a, like a mashup where, twilight imperium was heading into a future where they had to face the mythos like the mythos yeah arkham horror like oh okay all the ancient ones and stuff like that i see yeah yeah like
Hunter DonaldsonHOST
48:34

Dane BeltramiGUEST
48:37
where it turns from like you're no longer like the whatever the state of the galaxy is it's been established now you're defending from the outside like You know, the forces of Azathoth, the court of Azathoth coming to.
TonyHOST
1:49
time you call a game i'm gonna raise my hand saying i played it i played it okay defenders of the realm one of my favorite co-ops can't help it most
MartyHOST
1:56
well known for arkham horror uh in that series of series of games uh especially the arkham horror second edition that came out well that came out about 2005 2006 richard
Richard LauniusGUEST
2:10
Somewhere around in there.
Richard LauniusGUEST

Richard LauniusGUEST
2:32
He's a fantastic guy, fantastic designer.
MartyHOST
2:35
Yeah, and so basically Arkham Horror came out, then, you know, expansion after expansion after expansion.
MartyHOST
2:43
Then they came out with, like, a third edition, but...
SusieHOST
0:42

That was before we started doing the show, wasn't it?
MichaelHOST
9:09
Well, I had a Vivino account for myself, but not for the show specifically.
ChrisHOST
21:01
So maybe I'm just a fear monger, I guess.
SteveHOST
21:06
So I think we can see the designers totally look back at some of their stuff and say, ooh, let's take a note from Civil War where we have the modular schemes and villains, right? And then how can we make that play out here for the Fear No Evil, which I think they did a great job in sort of like importing that modularity uh even more than what we've already had because like you said dan you can mix and match a million things now between mod sets the the scheme and then the villain um which is really cool and then they did this one thing that people have been asking for i think for a long time um Where you can fail forward in the campaign, right? You can fail a scenario and then you get the failed environment version of the right so you can move forward in the campaign and having lost a Scenario which is a lot of fun Because you know people have been asked sort of asking for that Because you know people play Arkham Horror and these other games that all do that sort of stuff.
SteveHOST
22:13
So I think that's really cool and And I do agree.
SteveHOST
22:16
The heroes are fun.
NickGUEST
2:49

NickGUEST
2:51

Like, I like her.
ChadHOST
4:10
She seems fine.
ChadHOST
4:11
I like the ability to, like, flex some stats around, and then she just has straight-up recursion in her elder sign.
ChadHOST
2:34
That makes sense.
ChadHOST
2:35
Elder Sign, plus one.
ChadHOST
2:36
You may look at the reverse side of a face down card in your play area and swap it with a card in your hand.
NickGUEST
2:42
Okay.

NickGUEST

For an additional cost of one resource, you may perform action or f- or, uh, free, uh, or free trigger act- or fast actions on assets beneath Constance Carrington as if they were in your play area.
ChadHOST
8:41

NickGUEST
8:43
