Arkaroola

We have amazing planetariums.

Uh, we have, um, out at Arkaroola, there's a, a Mars analog landscape, something that there's atmosphere and beer nearby, but you can-

[laughs]

... experience the kind of, a Martian kind of desert.

For travellers wanting to go further, the loop north through Blinman, Parachilna and on to Arca Rula pushes into genuinely remote outback country.

Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary offers a different character again.

More rugged, more remote, with excellent stargazing given the complete absence of light pollution.

The roads into this northern section are unsealed and can be rough.
