Arkansas Highway Police

And, uh, so ki- history has kind of always been part of what I've been interested in, just kind of various parts of it, preserving, teaching, those various things.

Um, but with the department, my, my dad and my grandfather both worked on, uh, either weights and standards for my grandfather, but then transitioned to the Arkansas Highway Police, and then my father was part of the Arkansas Highway Police.

And so I have, I have a deep histo- historical background with the, the, uh, highway department with my family.

And so back in, uh, 2018, I, uh, I did a public history program for UALR, and I worked on a master's thesis on the highway police.
