Arkansas Derby

And I kind of understand why, Mike, when we watch replays like we, this, this Jim Dandy we're about to show, because this horse is pretty captivating when he's able to unleash that turn of foot that we see from him every now and then.

We saw it in the Arkansas Derby earlier this year prior to the Kentucky Derby.

That's what made him one of the favorites in the Run for the Roses.

And here, this Jim Dandy performance, it's gonna make him one of the favorites in this Travers, and probably rightly so.

And with you, I thought he actually ran pretty well there for his first start back.

I was, you know, I, I was a fan of this horse during the prep season.

I will say, you know, uh- Rebel, Arkansas Derby, he ran fine in both of those races, but you're not gonna ...

I don't think you're gonna come up with big excuses for him [laughs] um, you know, not to win those races.

He, of course, went on to race in the Kentucky Derby last year.

And, uh, he's been kind of, uh, hasn't been able to get back in the winner's circle since The Rebel right before the Arkansas Derby.

But, uh, but again, he's a hard knocking horse, and you have, uh, have that connection, that West Virginia connection to look forward to.
