Arizona Instructional League

This is going to be out of play.

A number of the Dodgers will be in the Arizona Instructional League beginning, well, they've already started down there, actually.

Some of the fellows have reported.

Three of the Dodger youngsters will be attending Arizona State College and playing in the Instructional League also.

Where we should really talk today is two things.

First, if you're a real prospect sicko, you probably noticed a post saying that the Cubs have opted out of the Arizona Instructional League.

Now, that's very different than the Arizona Fall League.

Just to clarify for anybody who saw that, the Arizona Instructional League is like extra – time for those kids who are still playing in Arizona, not in Myrtle Beach yet, so they're not in low A. They're in Arizona.

This is where a lot of your 18, 19-year-old kids are.

They have this thing called the Instruct League, which finishes up at the end of the season.

I don't know what it all means.

He's 21, so they skipped over the Arizona Instructional League or whatever they're calling that, the Complex League.

And they skipped over low A, the Tortugas down in Daytona.

And so they started him in the Midwest League.
