Argylle

Yes.

But I mean, Argylle got the new Beatles song.

You know what I mean?

[laughs]

Catching strays.

[laughs]

Did I expect Argylle to ever be brought up again on the podcast?

[laughs]

So what I thought was, uh, uh, I do, probably do like, do like a, maybe like a cash exchange or something like that, uh, or some shit or something.

I, I mean, I want to do the, the, the Argylle, but they probably have plans for that.

You know what I mean? The Argylle would be the way to do it, right?

Um, well, it wouldn't be the plane.

Uh, that movie launched a massive theatrical franchise that's earned more than $5.4 billion worldwide and transformed Hasbro's robots into one of Paramount's biggest movie properties.

Now, the new movie is being developed from a screenplay by Jason Fuchs, who did Wonder Woman and Argylle.

Uh, Paramount's keeping the story secret, [laughs] although the film will take place in the modern day.

Uh, Spielberg's increased involvement came after Paramount's leadership began to look for a way to revitalize Transformers.

So the script is penned by Jason Fuchs, and his background is super telling here.

He wrote Argylle.

Pure action espionage.

Yeah.

Oh, absolutely.

Or Elly Conway's Argylle, starring Bryce Dallas Howard and Samuel L. Jackson.

And Alice Walker's The Color Purple, the 2023 film adaptation.

If you made Gone Girl into an eight-hour series, the tension would just evaporate.

Yeah.

Um, took a bit of a dip with Argylle, but I believe he'll be back.

Um-

Was that a dip?
