Archive 81

You see this kind of thing with the ring or videodrome.

The most interesting one to me is the Netflix show Archive 81.

I did a two-episode series on that.

That one was fascinating.

No, you are absolutely not.

She comes from The Boys, Archive 81, and The Vampire Diaries.

Which is just wow.

I mean, for anyone unfamiliar with those titles, you're talking about the absolute bleeding edge of dark, visceral television.

It features hyperviolence and honestly deep moral rot.

Deep moral rot.

And Archive 81 is this suffocating, deeply unsettling supernatural horror about isolated characters losing their grip on reality.

Okay, so I have to call a time out here.

I think they, they come out regularly.

Archive 81, sorry.

Yeah, we, we ...

I've, I've not seen that one.

But stuff like...

Back Rooms is the sort of end result, but things like Archive 81 or Skidamarink or Candle Cove, there's a whole bunch of these.

And if you know what analog horror is, you're probably a fan of one or more of these.

And Public Access is a tabletop role-playing game that allows you to play out an analog horror experience, right?

Um, it's October, so I'm kind of digging through horror movies that I either like rewatching around this time of year or looking at stuff I haven't seen yet.

I finally got around to digging to watching the only season of Archive 81 on Netflix.

Hey, I

think you talked about that last week.
