Bender's Water Skin is another new addition that I'm very happy with.

this deck plays a lot of one cost instant speed interaction and being able to get one mana to use on each player's turn is i'm very likely to be able to use that mana so this is very likely to cost three mana to give me four mana over just the first turn cycle so you can view this as kind of immediately ish mana positive and just a very good mana source in general thought vessel i want more mana rocks i'm willing to tolerate the colorless aspect and the no max hand size is definitely big in a deck that is drawing as many cards as this deck is because this deck plays so much interaction i've broken it up into different categories so first stack interaction this is just like counter spells plus like misdirection and commandeer so 15 of those fierce guardianship flare of denial force of negation force of will mental misstep mind break trap pact of negation Dispel, Flusterstorm, Swan Song, Arcane Denial, Disrupting Shoal, Retrieve, Misdirection, and Commandeer.

The unusual cards here, I would say, are Arcane Denial and Retrieve.

Arcane Denial, Wonder of Blue, Counter Target Spell.

That spell's caster may draw up to two cards at the beginning of the next upkeep, and you draw a card at the beginning of the next upkeep.

So if you play this on someone else's turn, and then you go into another player's turn who isn't yours, and your opponent chooses to draw the two cards, which they probably will, then you will end up drawing three cards, one from Arcane Denial, one from T'Challa, because they drew a card.

That will be your second card draw, and so T'Challa will draw another card.

So you'll draw three, they'll draw two.
