just gonna be dominating it's kind of the same thing that we get with like defender gear and stuff like that and i'm very much a purist when it comes to that and it's fine if people want to use it and do whatever i'm just saying like i like preserving the the base experience as it was and then when i get into the expansion you actually there's

actually i actually have a case study here i'm calling a friend a case study that's kind of messed up but it is i have a friend that when they heard about wilds they wanted to get into uh monster hunter and And so they started with World, but they bought the World and Iceborne packages, because you guys know that on Steam this thing is on sale 90% of the time.

So they got that, and they just kind of went, oh, I'll just play with the Defender gear so that I can get to the quote-unquote hard stuff.

Because I find that not a lot of people that are newcomers, and I could be wrong, obviously I don't have the numbers to prove it, but if people want to If they're hearing about, oh, there's a harder thing where quote-unquote real hunters play, they want to skip the easier stuff.

So he went through Defender gear throughout the entirety of Base World, and I'm like, dude, you're kind of wasting some potential here.

But that is how he wanted to play, which is not how I would like to play.

And I think if two people have the option, that's fine.

They were actually that game like pretty much every

day 70 plus updates my man in two and a half years and like I I the whole point of my Content is to just show people the games that I like because games are a very personal part of my life You know, I've moved a lot.

I moved countries a lot ever since I was a kid and even as a grown-up it's a very good way for me to stay in touch with you know friends and family and putting out games that I like to people and is basically my passion because seeing there's nothing quite as good as seeing a comment saying i watched this video that you made on i don't know a good recent example for me is granblue fantasy relink and i got the game and i'm having a lot of fun i was like that's that's basically what i want people to do because You know, now in today's media, you've got so much negativity being chucked at you from all angles, all the time, and I think that it's very easy to get lost in that kind of stuff.

But looping back to Lords of the Fallen, so that I don't go on an endless rant here, is when the game launched, my god, I needed work.

Oh my lord.

Like, I remember having to do this, not exactly a quest, but I had to engage in PvP to unlock the Adir's Night set.

Which looked really cool.
