Called Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

This was a prequel before Sora and the three playable characters is Terra, Aqua and Ventus.

Ventus?

I don't know.

But they're, they're fun in their own right and, and I enjoy them, but getting to play something that, like, did not feel like that much of a step down from a console Kingdom Hearts game was really special to me.

Getting introduced to Aqua, Terra, and Ven for the first time after seeing them in the, uh, secret movie at the end of Kingdom Hearts II and being like, "Why does, uh, Kairi have blue hair? Who is this guy with brown hair?"

Mm-hmm.

"Is that-

And what I like the most about it, going back to what I said about the mythology, is that they created sort of a mystical, fantastical, uh, situation in which the Keyblade exists, and then with these three characters, they zoom in and tell like a personal like seed story of what masterhood looks like for the Keyblade.

What does it mean to, to, to use this weapon and use this power the way it's intended? And we see that at three different points in time of varying readiness across these three characters.

Aqua is a character who is far and away ready to be a Keyblade master and embodies all of the virtues and values that the game ascribes to being a Keyblade master.

Terra is almost there.

It's fucking incredible.

Aqua, master wizard that she is, is casting huge Blizzard.

Like, there's a point where the Batman-looking guy, who's Terra, like, gets drawn up into the sky by these earth pillars, and the key blade tornado is headed right towards him, and Aqua, like, exhausted, breathing heavy, heaving, she tears her helmet off to catch her breath, and she throws a Reflega spell.

Yes.

Like, uh, the top level Reflect spell.

His key- his frozen Keyblade shatters on the rocks.

[exhales]

Aqua dives to catch him before he, he falls completely, and in that moment his face mask is shattered, and Aqua looks down at him in her arms, and we're looking down at Roxas's face.
