Fascinating look at education.

The Apache Junction School District, the East Valley, the Apache Junction Unified School District is accepting students enrolled in the Empowerment Scholarship Account program.

They have got something called the AJUSD Flex program.

So it allows students to build their own schedule, so they can stack classes around a school's lunch period, giving them an opportunity to socialize and build friendships the same way that full-time students do.

I don't wanna see schools close.

I don't wanna see any of that.

But Apache Junction looking at this and saying, "Hang on a minute.

We can offer something." If we can find something in the system that is helpful to the student, and it gives us something that w- an advantage, that's what this whole thing about ESAs has been about for the whole time.

But Pooley is not willing to copy Tempe and quit using ALPRs.

Apache Junction police have also gone to weekly system audits, which Pooley says use AI to catch bad actors.
