Although I have to admit, the name strikes me as a little bit formal.

I also learned from others like Judith Shklar while I was at Harvard.

I went on to teach law at George Mason University School of Law for several years, and for the last 20 years, I have been a full-time senior fellow at the Hoover Institution.

The Hoover Institution, as many of you know, is part of Stanford University.

That means it's not really, as it's sometimes characterized, a think tank.

Then he went to law school.

He went to Scalia Law, good conservative law school at George Mason.

Went to work for America First Legal doing legal warfare against the Biden administration.

Now he's out in private practice still doing a lot of that stuff.

And at one point, he was the rector, the chairperson of the board.

It was while he was chairperson of George Mason's board that George Mason Law School was renamed the Scalia School of Law.

Yep.

He really was proud of Scalia.

It is my privilege today to introduce our moderator, Adam Perlman.

Mr. Perlman is the founder and chief executive officer of LuxPAC Global Services and a senior fellow at the National Security Institute at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School.

He previously served as the senior advisor for counterterrorism legal policy at the State Department and as an associate deputy general counsel for the Department of Defense.

He also held several positions in the Department of Justice.
