Anthroposophy

Mm.

Anthroposophist, you know, Christian, Buddhist, no, that doesn't define me.

At the end of the day, I is contentless.

You know, at this moment, what do I notice, what do I choose to notice, and what do I do with it?

You go and figure it out for yourself.

But it gives you beautiful indications, which is what I love about Rudolf Steiner and Anthroposophy.

Anthroposophy is the wisdom of the human being.

And so it is very much, we all have this inner wisdom.

We all have this inner knowing.

I mean, I think a lot of things are going on.

I think I was planning on talking about this in a future episode that I was going to do about this spiritual being that's named in Anthroposophy, the work of Rudolf Steiner called Ahriman, where I think that The human sense relationship to the world is diminishing a little bit.

And I think that that's actually a spiritual growth moment that we're encountering.

And we're trying to sort of mediate that in all sorts of ways.

Well, she wrote that she didn't want it to be viewed until like 30 years later, I don't think.

And she was actually, she became closely associated with Rudolf Steiner of Theosophical and later Anthroposophy, who actually kind of you know, told her that the world sort of wasn't ready to view her artwork and possibly that was true.

Um, but it's interesting that we see the emergence, independent emergence of abstract expressionism in the 19, late 1930s, I believe.

And that was a life-changing experience for me.

It's based on Rudolf Steiner's work, and it's called Anthroposophy.

For those that are hearing this for the first time, it's basically the spiritual science of life.

AJ, I've been doing some research into some occult societies that I've been trying to refute.

There's this prominent guy on Twitter who I've been following for several years who has started to really promote Anthroposophy and Rudolf Steiner.

I was just wondering if you have any information, if you've ever studied him.

I know he was a...

He was a member of the German chapter of theosophy.

But due to a schism in that chapter, he eventually leaves to found, and I have to w- w- work out how to pronounce this properly, to found anthroposophy.

Anthroposophy? Anthroposophy?

An- anthroposophy.

An- anthroposophy.

And no, no. Theosophy is actually well-constructed.

Mm.

Anthroposophy, the thosophy, thosophy, th- th- th- th- th- th- does not.

In fact, one German theosophist, Rudolf Steiner, who speculated a great deal about Atlantis and Lemuria in his own writings, ended up founding his own cult mystical group, the Anthroposophical Society.

Today, Anthroposophy, a word meaning the wisdom of mankind, is mostly relevant as the origin of Waldorf education, one of the most popular forms of alternative education in the world.

But Theosophy also birthed another cult movement in early 20th century Germany, Ariosophy, the quote-unquote wisdom of the Arians.

And this movement embraced not only the idea of Germans as Aryans, but also of Aryans as superior.

Yeah.
