I don't know exactly what the answer is to reduce George Niang's impact, but he had a huge impact today.

But the guy that I did not mention and the guy to watch in this game is Ty Jerome, former Warrior Ty Jerome, who back in 2022, 2023, the year after the championship, got a lot of run for the Warriors on that two-way contract.

It was him and it was Anthony Lamb, and there was a lot of discourse around Dub Nation.

A lot of callers that called in and were very upset at Steve Kerr not playing the Moses Moody's of the world, the Jonathan Kaminga's of the world, I don't even know if James Wiseman was healthy, but he was probably lumped in there.

The young guys, essentially.

And they were saying, why are you playing Lamb and Ty Jerome? And I think most agreed that Ty Jerome was a better basketball player than Anthony Lamb, but he wasn't this.

He's turned into a legitimate...

he could replace someone in an all-star game type player.

So I think he's got to play guys and just have a little bit more patience, right? I think you'll see.

Remember how many times he would play like Anthony Lamb because he had to win? Like, I have to win this game.

I think now it's more like, all right, Axel, you're not doing it right.

So get out there and do it right instead of come sit down because you got to win this game.

I don't want to get too pissy with it, but it's more of the same to me.

It's the same thing as when Wiggins was out for the back half of 2022-2023, and instead of maybe trading for somebody who could have potentially helped them during that stretch, they just throw it at a 20- or 21-year-old in Anthony Lamb.

Like it's not like they didn't have assets to go make something happen.

They had draft picks.

But hey, Steve Kerr, every once in a while, he, he picks and chooses some guys that he likes.

Going back to Anthony Lamb and Ty Jerome, Ty Jerome ended up being a really good NBA player.

Anthony Lamb, not so much.

So we'll see if Lyons is one of those guys that maybe surprises some people.

But the good news is, is that early on in the year with this roster as we see it right now, we're not gonna see, be seeing any Malfi.

Like I don't know who had it, but there was like, there's always a whip.

There's always one of these in the Warrior roster, and it had like a picture of Niang with Anthony Lamb, Damien Lee, which I thought was a bit unfair on Damien Lee.

I thought he was good for the Warriors for a couple years there.

Um, and someone else basically where it was just like all the, all the whipping boys of the last few years.

I mean, if you look at the season, he's in his fourth year.

First season, he averaged 20 points a game along with Anthony Lamb, and that was like the best season scoring-wise he's had.

But for the first five games to be averaging 27 points a game, and I think he's shooting 44% from three, it's not something we expected considering he was only shooting 30% from three last year as well.

And him adding this other string to his bow has completely added a – just another lethal weapon to his offensive game where players, where defenders actually have to play up on him even more now because he's so quick.

Yeah, you'd think so.

This is giving me flashbacks to 2023 season Parker, his first season in the competition, where he averaged 20 points a game alongside Anthony Lamb.

Both of them averaged 20.

He was electric.
