Every time something of significance happens in the church, I see him on ABC News or Seven News or Sky News or one of the platforms, that's for sure.

He's a really good communicator and clearly Archbishop Fish is making sure that he's getting those opportunities because he does articulate things beautifully, particularly I think for people that are not of faith explaining things.

A few weeks ago, a 15-second video clip went viral showing Hollywood action stars Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise locked in an elaborate fight on a crumbling rooftop.

There were sweeping camera angles, stunt choreography, crisp sound effects, everything we'd expect from a multi-million dollar blockbuster.

He is the Hubert Mader Chair in Bioethics, Professor of Philosophy, and the Director of the Elbert Nagy Center for Bioethics at St. Louis University.

He's delivering the annual Plunkett Lecture at the Australian Catholic University on Gadigal Land in Sydney, with an audience that includes theologians, health workers and the Sydney Archbishop, Anthony Fisher.

He's titled his talk, Enhancing Human Beings: Possible? Desirable? Ethical? Here he is.

And it was just a little gift, I guess, to just highlight, uh, and, and, uh, you know, bring, bring to life, uh, you know, the, the, the enormity of the, uh, of the event.

What was it like for you when you first saw that moment unfold?

The next International Eucharistic Congress, or Eucharist 28, will take place in Sydney, Australia from September 24th through October 1st of 2028.

Sydney's Archbishop Anthony Fisher and Auxiliary Bishop Richard Umbers, who is the secretary general of the event, met Pope Leo XIV yesterday to discuss the details.

The theme of the Congress is This Is My Body Given for You, and the gathering is expected to draw pilgrims from across Australia and around the world.

A theological symposium will take place September 20th through the 22nd ahead of the Congress, and Archbishop Fisher said the meeting with the Pope was an opportunity to discuss plans for the event and for him to get feedback from the Pope on what he'd like to do and what he'd like to see happen at the Congress.
