Anstruther

I mean, I've got Ely in my book.

I've got Anstruther in there.

Uh, North barracks in my, I've got a chapter of the 19th hole where I've list a few other ones that just barely missed.

I've got a chapter on the old course, which I, again, the old course, this is, you may consider this sheeting, but I don't, it's, it, it exists outside of rankings as far as I'm concerned.

Somehow it all worked out and I'll, you know, read it in the book, but she was, she was just, I hope she's been fired from Lufthansa at this point.

But, um, you know, we barely, we've, we've got there so late.

Uh, we were supposed to play Anstrutherd, one of Jake's favorite courses.

And we walked into the hotel in Anistra at 9.30, just dead, worn out, been traveling for 26 hours or something.

And they brought in commercial search and rescue helicopters as well.

Down on the water, you had lifeboats launched from Anstruther and Brodie Ferry.

So it is just a massive mobilization of resources.

And according to the reports, Police Scotland did eventually confirm that a body was recovered from the North Sea.

And it's just, God, it's so bad.

She looks like she's at Anstruther or something with two boxes of fish and chips, and she's got a sort of larger, you know, double giant size or something, which is what Scots get, uh, thanks to the union.

And then a sort of, I can't remember what she describes it, size, which is what we would get essentially if we were just working off our own resources.

I mean, it's, to be honest, I couldn't watch more than 20 seconds of it without wanting to throw the, the, the phone at the wall.

Used to eat a chippy most Fridays when I stayed in Dunfermline.

Now I never eat them unless I'm visiting my parents or, as you say... a road trip to the wee chippy in Anstruther or the wee hurray in Troon, which was also tremendous.

I mean, I've not got kids at that age just yet, but when I do have a couple of people who's asking what they're playing and then...

We used to have the Yellow Book, right? And there used to be a junior convener at every single golf club who was also the taxi driver that took the junior team away to play at Anstruther, took the ju- you know, in a wee minibus.

Um, there's always little things that, that the clubs did, um, which if they're getting funding from the Scottish Golf, it, but just take the money and, and employ somebody to be the m- uh, junior convener.

Doesn't mean Scottish Golf has to run it all, but yeah.
