Ansan

So if you like your coffee hot but your bones chilled, sit back and start your day with a morning cup of murder.

According to some sources, so the exact date is questionable, on January 24th, 2009, a man named Kang Ho-sun was arrested at his workplace in Ansan in connection with the disappearance and tragic murder of a young female student, a woman who disappeared just a month before the arrest and was found just after.

But that wasn't all.

Kang, a 38-year-old sports massage therapist, was allegedly responsible for the murder of a total of 10 women between December of 2006 and November of 2008, and was also suspected of the murder, which included arson, of his fourth wife and her mother.

However, other sources say there was a victim named Yun Jeong-hyun, who w- just 23, who was killed a few months earlier on September 7th, 2006.

Then there was Park Sung-ha, another karaoke employee, 37 years old, who was killed on December 24th, 2006; Park Jung-ja, 52 years old, who was killed on January 3rd, 2007; Kim Hae-yeong, 37, who was killed on January 6th, 2007; Yoon Mi-young, 21, a university student, who was killed on January 7th, 2007; Kim Soo-hee, a 48-year-old housewife, who was killed on November 9th, 2008; and A Young-ok, 19, a university student, who was killed on December 19th, 2008.

And three years before his arrest, Kang is suspected of setting his home in Ansan ablaze with his fourth wife and her mother still inside, all to collect the insurance money afterward.

He registered their marriage just five days before the fire, and though he admitted to the other murders, he has denied any involvement in the arson, saying he was, quote, "lost" after her death, and that he only developed the desire to kill after about a year after his tragic loss.

Yeah.

The re- the rest of them all, all, all have, which includes Ansan, which obviously is a former police team town.

So it's, um, you know, there's not really a lot of options, I don't think, to move to a, a, a new city.

Now there's, there were some rumors that one of them was Andong, which is not too far from Gimcheon, Sangju-

Now, this wasn't always the case.

There was always two options, and the other mention goes to the police team, the Mugunghwa teams, when you look back on the, uh, on the, the namings.

Uh, this obviously, these obviously came in with, uh, K League 2's establishment Uh, Police FC and then Ansan Police and then switching from the police moniker to Mugunghwa, uh, so Ansan Mugunghwa.

Fun fact, um, harking back to last week's episode, Ansan Mugunghwa, they won the 2016 K League 2 on goals scored despite only having a plus two goal difference.
