Annie Clements

I asked around about pronunciation a whole bunch while I was up in the Upper Peninsula, but I asked about the wrong names because I hadn't read the books yet, so I didn't know which names were going to be important.

I also didn't ask about how to pronounce the last name of Annie Clements.

It's probably Clemens or Clements, even though it is spelled C-L-E-M-E-N-C.

She was dubbed the Joan of Arc of Calamette, and she was a six-foot-two Slovenian badass who will go down in history, while her alcoholic abusive husband, one and two, are both long lost to obscurity.
