But before we get into your book and why you wrote it and what it's about, I want to get into just the work that you've been doing in this space of motherhood, of burnout, of... motherhood and career crossover and overall wellness and mental health space?

Yeah.

So my career started as a clinical psychologist and my research was on motherhood, but I was not a mom yet.

I was really interested in transitions and like how people go from one thing to another and kind of identity shifts.

So I kind of briefly looked at college students and that transition and then the transition to work and how people choose careers and And I stumbled upon motherhood at the suggestion of my advisor, and I found it just fascinating.

And no one was looking at it at the time because this was 20 years ago.

We didn't, like, the term matrescence existed, but it was buried in the anthropology literature.

Can you talk a little bit about what you're including in your book that is going to allow for this kind of bigger spider web understanding of what it means to be an ambitious mother?
