And what we saw in that updated analysis where this PFS benefit was sustained, the hazard ratio was sustained at zero point six two, which was very nice.

But for the very first time, we also saw with an oral SERD or a novel endocrine agent in the metastatic setting with monotherapy, a very clinically meaningful numerical gain in overall survival.

So researchers asked whether GLP-1s changed that risk.

A study in the Annals of Oncology followed more than 160,000 adults with obesity who did not have diabetes.

Those taking a GLP-1 had about 41% fewer obesity-related cancers over roughly two years than those who got diet and exercise counseling alone.

And at this year's major cancer meeting, Cleveland Clinic researchers reported on more than 12,000 patients who already had early stage cancer.
