What do you think the impact of this is on wider society? So we know that the minds of the children will obviously just skew toward that of their teachers, but what's the impact on wider society of just having this monoculture?
5:19
Well, these students, these school students grow up and they get jobs in the bureaucracy.
5:25
They get jobs making policies.
5:27
They get jobs renaming paintings in the art galleries so that they're more appropriate.
5:35
They get jobs in every single sector of society.
5:38
So there is no institution now that is free from this because these university-trained students students who have completely absorbed this worldview know nothing else and are full of the sort of zealousness of what I sometimes think of as converts who want to go out and change the world and transform the world.
6:03
And this is where Freyr comes back in because that's how he transformed the classroom through his idea that that it's not about the transmission of knowledge.

with his education programs.

I'll get it in."
25:21
Well, this is, this is a very interesting, uh, aspect of it all.
25:24
These people are public servants, and they are being paid by the public, but they're deciding what you should and what you should not read, and they're behaving as if we live in some kind of communist regime where, where only the state-sanctioned material gets put in the libraries.
25:38
And who gives them the, the right to set themselves up as censors? Nobody.
25:41
This is not, this is not a mandate.
25:43
They're taking on this, this role that is not theirs, and if the public goes in and asks for a book, they have to get that book in for the public.
25:50
And in fact, it's in their own guidelines.
26:28
... to get a copy of your book.

it's not somewhere you want to
33:28
return to unless you become a teacher or, you know, but it's a shock to many that schools have been so transformed since they were at school themselves.
33:39
You know, children don't sit in rows and desks anymore.
33:41
There's no...
33:43
It doesn't even look the same anymore.
33:45
There's no discipline.
33:46
The teacher is no longer the authority because it's the democratization of the classroom, which comes from the progressive John Dewey child-centered learning theory that has destroyed schools and destroyed education.
36:35
Well,
67:06
Mm.
67:06
So we're producing generations of young people, through no fault of their own, who are the true victims of this vast social experiment, um, who are emerging from, uh, 12 years at school knowing nothing.
67:18
We, we know that it's not working because our NAPLAN results and our PISA results are getting worse every year.
67:24
You know, only 57% of 15-year-olds in Australia are f- uh, [laughs] are, are able to read to a standard that we have set.
67:34
Only 57% of 15-year-olds.
70:24
Mm.
70:24
And that has now found its way remarkably into kindergartens, um, which is, which most people are now suddenly waking up to.
70:32
A lot of people are waking up to it because they're going into the kindergartens, and they're seeing the rainbow bunting.
56:28
You're saying it's embedded in the curriculum, the written curriculum.
56:32
It is, and it's worse than that.
56:33
It's not only embedded, but it's government mandated.
56:36
So the government doesn't, isn't just allowing this to happen, it's making sure that it happens, and that's a really important distinction for parents to understand.
56:44
So, um, I often talk about the fact that this is now starting in Australia in kindergartens.
56:50
The activism and the politicization is mandated through the early learning syllabus that the government has, um, put together, and it's, it's aimed at zero to five-year-olds, and it's mandated in all learning centers across Australia.
57:05
And within that document, teachers are encouraged and, and als- al- almost, you know, ordered to turn very, very small children into political activists and, and they use the words to put them on the path to reconciliation.
59:48
And you sort of scratch your head and you think to yourself, "Why is that?" Do you link that kind of activism that you've detected in the curriculum to those low results?
2:11
You're saying it's embedded in the curriculum, the written curriculum.
2:14
It is, and it's worse than that.
2:16
It's not only embedded, but it's government mandated.
2:18

And within that document, teachers are encouraged and, and als- al- almost, you know, ordered to turn very, very small children into political activists and, and they use the words to put them on the path to reconciliation.
5:21
And, and tell me, literacy and numeracy results in this country at the moment, the international standard is so low, and it has been that way for about 18 years, and you sort of scratch your head and you think to yourself, "Why is that?" Do you link that kind of activism that you've detected in the curriculum to those low results?
47:38
I'm guessing you would have had a lot to work with when opening up this can of worms about what's going on inside Aussie classrooms.
47:44
Oh, look, there's so much I could have written encyclopedias about how bad it is, but I had to stick to 70,000 words.
47:51
It is an absolute crisis in the education system.
47:54
Parents really need to wake up to what is being taught to their children and There is a massive shift now from teaching children how to read and write.
48:02
And we can see that in the plummeting standards of literacy and numeracy.
48:05
But the shift has gone from knowledge and reading and writing to politicization.
48:10
They're being politicized in the classroom with what we call woke issues.
49:38
You've got an example, Dr Bella Debrera, about maths being taught through Indigenous dance? Yes.

I'm guessing you would have had a lot to work with when opening up this can of worms about what's going on inside Aussie classrooms.

Oh, look, there's so much I could have written encyclopedias about how bad it is, but I had to stick to 70,000 words.

um there is a massive shift now from teaching children how to read and write and we can see that in the plummeting standards of literacy and numeracy but and the shift has gone from knowledge and reading and writing to politicization they're being politicized in the classroom with what we call woke issues so climate change radical gender theory race theory and this twisted idea twisted version of history they're being taught to hate australian history and hate At
3:00
You've got an example, Dr Bella Debrera, about maths being taught through Indigenous dance?
3:07
This happens all throughout the curriculum, from primary school to secondary school.
3:10
So this is because when the curriculum was written, they prioritised certain issues.
