Anna Wood

These words are very applicable when related to the current debate on the popular recreational drug ecstasy.

On Monday 25 October 1995, the headlines in Sydney's Daily Telegraph Mirror read, Anna Wood, 15, took a $70 ecstasy tab and went to a dance party.

At 3.55pm yesterday, she died.

Anna's deadly party.

The state government pledged to fund research into ecstasy and as a result an information package named Project E was released to educate and prevent use amongst the community.

Today there is still a feeling that ecstasy is bad and should be avoided at all costs.

Now, compare the story of Anna Wood to the story of Englishman Tim Lawrence.

Tim used to be a movie stuntman, with daring roles in features such as Braveheart.
