Mm-hmm.

And this year, it's his 10th anniversary as head of the department, and we will be, um, opening with our spring 2026 exhibition, an exhibition that is called Costume Art, and it opens to the public on Sunday, May 10th, and it explores the artistic representations of the dressed body over time, featuring over some 400 objects from the Met's vast collection.

And our annual Met Gala, a fundraiser for Andrew's department, takes place on May 4th and celebrates the exhibition opening.

Ca- can I ask one question? When you were both in the UK, did you have any knowledge of each other way back in the day? No.

We met at the Met.

You met, met at the- We met at the Met, and we have worked together now- Mm-hmm ... as I said, for 20 years.

Mm-hmm

... because we felt that me- meant that we were able to really step back and examine the true influence of their, their work.

[laughs] Um, what are you most proud of having published at, at Vogue?

Hi.

Well, first of all, congratulations on the movie.

It was magical, and your hair alone was a work of art.

But thinking a lot about the film over the few months since I saw it and hearing you say how much you wanted to go back to singing, I was curious to know if you would ever take this wonderful film and put it on Broadway as a musical and, if not, what are you gonna do next on Broadway?

Mm-hmm.

... true creative designers, and I'm sure it's same with, with your world, it's original.

It comes from their mind, not from somebody else's mind.

Maybe they had some influences, but the idea is theirs.

And you know, when I work with Andrew Bolton, who's the chief curator at the Metropolitan Museum, we work very, we work very closely together every, every year on the Met exhibitions.

And it's so fascinating and exciting and interesting to see how his mind works and how the ideas form.

And yes, he reads a lot, he looks at a lot, but in the end, the original thinking is entirely Andrew's.
