Anna Turns

That's Dr Claire Ostall, marine biogeochemist at the Marine Biological Association and the chair of the Global Alliance of Continuous Plankton Recorder Surveys.

And Anna Turns, an environmental journalist and senior environment editor for The Conversation.

I am very worried about a world without plankton.

I think it's going to be very tricky.

But if plankton disappear, they could still end us.

And this time, we won't even need dynamite.

Huge thank you to my guests, Dr. Claire Austell and Anna Turns.

Next time on Life Without, the emotional safety valve is welded shut, leaving us to swallow our feelings in the dark.
