Anna Kornbluh

But I think, there's an amazing book I'd love to plug quickly.

It's called Immediacy by Anna Kornbluh and it's, um, I took, um, classes with her at University of Illinois at Chicago and it's kind of, it's the most comprehensive in a world where everything seems so fragmented now and at times despair-worthy and hopeless.

It's a book about the cultural, cultural capitalism in the late, uh, in our century and how after the, um, after industrialism a- and production comes the reign of circulation and she ties aesthetics into this, especially auto-fiction and the affect you're talking about.

Um, how we have like ceased the ability to like memo- memorialize, fictionalize and like aestheticize our experiences.
