But really, let's talk about the patient journey.

The patient journey starts...

One of two places.

Place one is when something doesn't feel right.

So like, I guess like when you're thinking about assembling your own team, what would you say is like the shift when you're putting it together?

Tell us what's really happening.

Yeah, I mean, the president has lied relentlessly about Washington, DC.

And, and these people lie like they breathe.

It, it's crazy to hear some of the stuff they're saying about Washington, DC being set free.

Um, the president was saying that, uh, people are going to restaurants more than they ever have.

Well, we actually have the data on this.

The restaurant, uh, reservations are down about 20% from the same point this year to last year because people are just scared to go out with all these National Guard troops and federal agents, uh, out patrolling the streets.

"This is like Disneyland." Wh- wh- what do you say to that?

Does it alarm you to see these kind of s- kinds of steps being taken?

Well, s- so, th- their...

W- when that order was given, it was basically a compromise.

The, the police chief was like, "Okay, I'm gonna uphold the spirit and the letter of the law and maybe, uh, compromise on the spirit of the law and issue that order you referred to." When the attorney general saw that order from the police chief, she said, "Okay, I'm actually gonna take total control over MPD now.

Right now, I've been giving orders to our police chief, I'm actually just gonna appoint a new police chief now." And that's what they tried to do, appoint a new police chief and tell them that they don't have to follow any of the, DC's, uh, laws around, uh, compliance with ICE, and that was, e- that was, that went too far for our, our, uh, our government.

And so we challenged that in court, and we won, uh, at least partially, uh, where we still have our current police chief in effect, and we're still trying to figure out exactly to what degree the, um, they can r- require her to violate local DC laws.

I mean, it seems pretty clear to me that they can't, but I think that's before a court right now.

Wh- what would you say to a resident of DC who's feeling that now?
