Anita Blake that is what I'm thinking

yes Anita Blake vampire hunter she hunts vampires in those books I've read so many of those and she is The most pick-me of pick-mes, which I feel like the idea of a pick-me will come up because it's in a lot of YA vampire novels.

Can you explain what a pick-me is?

Someone who, it's quite sad actually, we judge them, but really it's just a by-product of being raised to value the opinions of men more than the women around you.

All these vampires want her and there's a werewolf that wants her and there's a shifter that wants her and whatever.

It turns out because she's half fairy, so she's got like... really delicious blood or whatever but yeah everybody in that series

Anita Blake so like that she ends up it's so funny she goes from um I mean

On, on, on like a more minor day-to-day level, how do you handle, uh, not being able to go out without knowing if your hair looks ridiculous? You know, you know, it, it's like there's all of these sort of little elements that kind of just, just come from the rules.

I was thinking that this is actually really interesting that like the idea of vampires in a modern-day setting has been done before, but it tends to be done in like non-interactive things like True Blood and, um, Anita Blake and like a few other things like that, but you really haven't where you personally have to worry about these details.

And so that was like sort of the starting point of like I think there's some extra potential here.

And then from that it kind of came to, well, how do we do something which is distinctly not Vampire: The Masquerade? It's, it's, uh, obviously these games that weren't necessarily out, but which isn't like Vampyr, which isn't like horror and like personal horror and darkness everywhere.
